Proposition 50 passes by a HUGE margin thanks to Democrats getting out the vote!
Thank you to everyone who displayed yard signs, mailed postcards, talked to friends and neighbors, canvassed neighborhoods, attended NO KINGS and Prop 50 rallies, and VOTED to pass Proposition 50!
Now onward to taking back the House of Representatives in 2026!

When Washington turns its back on democracy and the environment, California leads. With the passage of Proposition 50, voters across the state, and especially here in Sonoma County, took a stand against the growing threat of authoritarianism and environmental collapse. We didn’t wait for the federal government to fix what it helped break. We organized, we mobilized, and we won.
The SMART Initiative campaign is doing one final push for signatures to get on the Spring 2026 ballot. If you haven't already, please make sure you sign the petition!
Two easy places are:
- Cloverdale Chamber of Commerce Office 126 N. Cloverdale Blvd. Monday-Friday 10am - 4pm. Please call ahead to make sure someone will be available to help you at (707) 894-4470
- Clo Dem Fall Social, Saturday November 15th (details below)

Join us Saturday November 15th noon-1pm for our Fall Social at Tian Yuen
The club will be providing the first round of appetizers, lunch and drink orders are on your own. Invite your friends to join us to celebrate all we've done this year and the passage of Prop 50. This is also chance to sign the SMART Initiative petition!
